Choose your tournament's category. The list shows what an official tournament is bound to — and highlights what is newly added or gets stricter with each level.

International ranking tournament.
Registration & organization 6
Conducted under the ICO Tournament Regulations, ICO rules of play and ICO Umpire Regulations.
A valid ICO license for all players.
Date submitted to the ICO 1 month in advance; then an official announcement in the Tournament Software.
At least 7 days before the tournament starts.
1 full-time organizer (recommendation: does not play themselves).
At least 1 independent observer; ICO sponsoring according to the standard percentage achieved.
Participants & draw 4
At least 4 singles categories (Women's and Open mandatory); at least 4 players each.
At least 25 players.
For at least 50 players (the field may be capped, but not below that).
Seeding by the ICO ranking; draw in the Tournament Planner, the .tp file sent to the ICO for review at least 3 days in advance.
Venue & equipment 7
Field dimensions and markings (court numbers, serve line …) per ICO standard.
Hall at least 7 m high (above all courts); exceptions only with ICO approval.
At least 4 courts.
At most 100 km to an international airport.
One scoreboard per court.
A designed, branded center court is recommended.
Medical care provided by the organizer; sanitary facilities required.
Conduct & officiating 6
1 licensed head umpire (recommendation: does not play themselves).
Match & line umpires in the finals of all categories.
Top with name and country (or country code) on the back — from the semifinals (International Series).
A full-time announcer is recommended (names the ICO sponsors).
A live stream including ICO partner advertising is recommended.
Ceremony with a podium and announcer; certificates and medals/trophies for places 1–3.
After the tournament 2
€2.50 per player to the ICO (settled after the tournament).
Send the official ICO tournament report (with photos) 1 day after the tournament.
