Training with purpose

Explanation
openIn the beginner area it was about a solid foundation: warming up, staying mobile, quick feet, endurance, recovery. Now the training gets more targeted. You work on the abilities Crossminton specifically demands — the explosiveness for the first step, the power transfer for hard strokes, the endurance for the typical alternation of short intense phases and breaks.
One principle stands above all: base before specialization. Targeted, demanding training builds on a solid foundation. Whoever skips the foundation and starts straight away with advanced methods risks overload. The advanced modules therefore assume that the foundation from the beginner area is in place.
Targeted also means: watching your own development. Do you notice that you lack explosiveness, strength, or endurance more? This honest look shows you what to work on. Not everything at once, but one after another, whatever slows you down most.
One important note up front that applies to all the modules that follow: this area explains principles, not ready-made training plans. Advanced physical training — especially jumping power and load management — needs to be dosed and built up correctly. For a concrete program tailored to you, a qualified coach is the right address. And with pain or complaints, the assessment belongs in medical or physiotherapy hands.
Targeted training is like building out a house. First the foundation has to stand, then you deliberately build the rooms you need. Whoever adds storeys on a weak foundation endangers the whole structure.
Reflection task
openLook honestly at your game: what holds you back physically the most — do you lack the explosiveness for the first step, the strength for hard strokes, or the endurance toward the end of a set? Choose a single focus to work on first. And consider whether your athletic foundation from the beginner area (warming up, mobility, base endurance) is actually in place — it is the prerequisite for everything more targeted. For a concrete program, bring in qualified guidance.
